Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

Katun Goles is a wooden mountain hut on Goles mountain, built 1 600 m above sea level. It is an object built with the great respect for the biodiversity of the area and with the target group of travelers who respect nature and are in search of an ideal place for a vacation away from the noise, polluted air and who like to experience the real contact with the nature. Katun has solar panels that are used to produce hot water and are functioning very well, so the katun has at all times hot water for guests. Near katun are three marked hiking paths. This accommodation is known as the "Sheppard’s katun" because it is built in the way that guests have the opportunity of contacting with the animals that are on this estate.
